Boston Baroque is committed to providing a safe and healthy concert environment for audiences, musicians, and staff for the 23-24 Season.
Vaccination & Masking Protocols for Boston Baroque Audiences
Patrons are no longer required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 vaccine. Audiences are welcome to wear masks in the concert hall, but masks are not required.
Protocols for attendance will be communicated to ticket holders in advance of their performance based on current disease dynamics and recommendations from the CDC, W.H.O., and the State of Massachusetts. These policies are subject to additions and changes. We are grateful to our audiences for their partnership in ensuring Boston Baroque concerts are a safe and healthy experience for all.
Boston Baroque Refund Policy
Boston Baroque will accommodate all ticket adjustment requests, including refunds, exchanges, and/or converting a ticket order to a donation or a gift card, up to 1 week in advance of showtime. Requests for refunds or exchanges that occur after that period will be up to the discretion of the Box Office.
If on the day of the performance you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, please stay home and contact Boston Baroque’s Box Office at boxoffice [at] bostonbaroque.org for refund and exchange options.
Every performance will have a livestream option if attending a performance in person doesn’t feel right. We look forward to welcoming you to Boston Baroque wherever you are, in whatever medium feels right to you.
Vaccination & Masking Protocols for Boston Baroque Musicians & Staff
All Boston Baroque musicians and staff are required to be fully vaccinated & (when eligible) boosted. All staff and musicians have the choice to be masked or unmasked. Additional extensive testing protocols for musicians and staff will also be required.
Additional HVAC Improvements at Calderwood Studio
GBH has equipped Calderwood Studio with an updated HVAC system and cleaning standards that further prevents the spread of COVID-19.
HEPA filters circulate the air from the studio where they go through Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI or UV-C). Electromagnetic waves produced by ultraviolet lights (pictured) damage any germs circulating in the air, inhibiting their ability to infect individuals. This method of sanitization is particularly effective against COVID-19 in addition to other viruses like influenza.
